Could Ohio State's Brice Sensabaugh Team Up with LeBron James on Los Angeles Lakers?

In this story:
Two of the greatest basketball players to come out of the state of Ohio could meet up 2,241 miles away in The City of Angels.
Former Ohio State Buckeyes forward Brice Sensabaugh was photographed working out Thursday with the Los Angeles Lakers, the current team of forward LeBron James.
Sensabaugh is projected to be a top pick in the 2023 NBA Draft after averaging 16.3 points per game during his rookie campaign with the Buckeyes in 2022.

The Orlando, Florida native also shot 40 percent or better from both the field and the three-point line and shot an impressive 83 percent at the free-throw line.
The Lakers have two selections at the moment, first at No. 17 and again at No. 47.
It is unlikely that Sensabaugh would fall out of the first round, so the only realistic chance the Lakers would have of snagging the young forward would be with their former choice rather than their latter.
A recent mock draft has the Ohio State freshman phenom slotted as a first-round selection, going to the Houston Rockets with the 20th overall pick. This position is not far off from where the Lakers sit at 17.
Arguably the biggest need for the Rockets in the draft is a pass-first playmaker, someone who can play the role of current small forward Kevin Porter Jr., but with more upside. This is a need that could (and should) be a high enough priority that Houston elects to spend its higher pick, rather than its lower selection, to solve it.
The 2023 NBA Draft tips off on Thursday, June 22 at 8 p.m. Eastern time, and will air on both ABC and ESPN.
