Ohio State got themselves a good one.

6'3 250 Ty Hamilton from Pickerington Ohio is an eager football player driven to getting to the football.

His film shows me that Ty has a desire to make the tackle every single time he puts his hand in the ground. His power stuns offensive linemen and he uses this separation to read, react, and run to the ballcarrier.

He doesn't have explosive speed off the edge, yet. I wouldn't look for Hamilton to make any big contributions the day he steps on campus, but come year 2, he'll be up there in the mix.

After receiving offers and visiting Penn State, and Michigan, Hamilton will look to join the Bosa brothers and current Buckeye Chase Young legacy of highly driven defense ends.

The Buckeyes now have one of the best 2020 recruiting classes in the nation, which is just about as surprising as ping pong balls and beer being sold right next to each other in supermarkets. The Buckeyes tote a pair of 5 stars in Wide Receiver Julian Flemming, and Tackle Paris Johnson Jr. in addition to Hamilton.

On the defensive side of the ball, OSU brings in (what is looking like) their next round of All-American DB's in Clark Phillips(CB), Lathan Ransom (S), and Kourt Williams (SS)

Competition breeds excellence which comes as no surprise to those who have tasted success.
