Oklahoma Hosts Second Consecutive Recruiting Weekend

After the Sooners' Elite Junior Day on Jan. 27, OU hosted another set of talented recruits in the 2025 and 2026 classes a week later.

Last weekend, Oklahoma hosted a huge recruiting event for prospects in the 2025 and 2026 classes, hosting over 20 high school players.

While the Sooners' list wasn't quite as extensive on Saturday, Brent Venables and company still saw a handful of talented recruits on campus for the team's second recruiting event in two weeks.

With the 2024 recruiting class now complete and mostly on campus, OU is turning its attention to the upcoming cycles. So far, the Sooners have 10 pledges in the 2025 class and one in the 2026 class.

With Kevin Sperry, Jaden Nickens, Gracen Harris, Elijah Thomas, Trynae Washington, Ka'Mori Moore, Marcus James, Alexander ShieldnightOwen Hollenbeck and Ryan Fodje on board in 2025, Oklahoma is already off to a great start in the next recruiting cycle.

In the 2026 class, 4-star running back Jonathan Hatton Jr. is the Sooners' lone commitment thus far.

With all of OU's recruiting efforts now of the 2025 and 2026 classes, it appears that Venables and company have made a solid impression on a handful of prospects in attendance.
