Hailing from Kankakee, IL, Easley is a 4-star recruit, rated No. 205 nationally according to 247Sports. At 6-foot-7 and 325 pounds, the powerful lineman has racked up an impressive offer list, with over 30 schools from around the country expressing their interest in Easley.
The 4-star recruit was in Norman for an official visit from June 9-11, coinciding with a slew of other highly touted prospects. Among the group was Sooners’ quarterback commit Michael Hawkins, who seemed to get along well with Easley.

Following his trip to Norman, Easley was very positive when speaking about Oklahoma.
“I feel this program is going to be very elite going into the SEC,” Easley told 247Sports after his official visit. “It’s nothing but great and fun vibes there. It’s just amazing knowing the history they have.”
The Kankakee High School standout has taken an official visit to Tennessee since his trip to Norman and is slated to visit Alabama on June 23. Easley has his commitment date set for July 8, the same day that fellow Sooners’ target Davon Mitchell is announcing his pledge.
Georgia was previously thought to be the leader in Easley’s recruitment, especially after the Illinois native took an official visit to Athens earlier in June. The Bulldogs, however, didn’t even crack the 4-star tackle’s top three.
If Bill Bedenbaugh is able to earn a commitment from Easley, it would be a huge win along the recruiting trail for OU, especially over two future conference opponents. Easley would join Itawamba Agricultural (MS) offensive tackle Isaiah Autry as the Sooners' only 2024 o-line commits thus far, with more likely coming after a busy two weeks of recruiting for Brent Venables and company.
