Oklahoma Sooners in the NFL: Week 10

In this story:
Baker Mayfield continues to revitalize his career in Tampa Bay, and the Buccaneers finally got back on track with a win. Mayfield has a solid day through the air, throwing for 278 yards, two touchdowns and one interception on 18-of-29 passing. The Bucs dominated a decent Tennessee Titans team 20-6 and played complimentary football the entire game.
Mayfield found a way to get his top receiver involved in a big way, too. Mike Evans recorded six catches for 143 yards and one touchdown. The Bucs quarterback was spreading the ball around, completing passes to six different wide receivers.
On the season, Mayfield now has 2,143 yards passing, 14 touchdowns, and just five interceptions. He’s playing solid football and is likely earning himself another contract at the end of the season.
Kyler Murray was back again after missing 335 days with an ACL injury. For a full breakdown on his performance, head to the All Sooners article here.
The game was well out of hand, but Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard caught his first touchdown pass of the season on Sunday. The veteran pass catcher missed the majority of last season with an injury and has suffered multiple devastating blows over the course of his career. It was good to see him cross pay dirt, even if it didn’t necessarily matter.

Speaking of former Sooners’ wide receivers, Ceedee Lamb is making a case for the best receiver in the NFL. His string of dominance continued on Sunday, where he recorded 11 catches for 151 yards and two total touchdowns, one receiving and one rushing. He has now gone over 100 yards in four straight weeks and is the NFL’s third leading receiver.
