Evaluation: At 6-foot-6, Ivan Carreon is a tall outside pass catcher who can win as a possession receiver or down the field in vertical situations. A hurdler in track and field, Carreon has the speed to beat slower defenders downfield and the size to box out smaller DBs. Additionally, his size and length give Carreon a huge catch radius. When going over the middle of the field, defensive backs struggle to stop the three-sport athlete from making the catch as Carreon has strong hands and can catch the ball away from his body effectively. Carreon was good at breaking tackles in the open field at Odessa High and will look to bring the same skillset to Norman.
