Gundy Brings Back Todd Bradford as Director of Recruiting
STILLWATER -- It's known as the lifeblood of any college program in any sport: recruiting. There are schools that don't really need any help recruiting. Schools like Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia or any other blue-blood program.
Schools like Oklahoma State recruit good athletes out of high school, and has had a lot of success in the last 10 years. But they're also known as a program that's done an amazing job at developing really talented three-star recruits and landing two to three four-stars in each class.
To help the Pokes get over that hump, head coach Mike Gundy has hired Todd Bradford as the Director of Recruiting.
“Also, we hired Todd Bradford as the director of recruiting," said coach Gundy. "He's on the job as of today. Todd had been here before and left here when Larry Fedora left to be the defensive coordinator at Southern Mississippi. He bounced around a few places; he was out one year with some private business. We brought him back in recruiting and he's on board with us.”
Bradford was in Stillwater from 2005-07 where he served as the linebackers coach. While with Oklahoma State, he recruited some talented athletes that included All-Americans Markelle Martin and Grant Garner, as well as Jamie Blatnick and Ugo Chinasa, who went on to earn All-Big 12 honors.
