The Ole Miss Rebels will conclude spring practice next week with the annual Grove Bowl spring game, but that event is getting a facelift this year.

According to a press release from the school, Ole Miss will now hold the "Grove Bowl Games," changing the format of the contest from a full scrimmage to "7-on-7 action and various skills competitions" at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. The release also states that all the competitions will be "offense vs. defense with points applied to the skills tests in addition to the scoring in the 7v7."

The program is expecting to release more details on the specifics of the events closer to next Saturday.

This will be part of a big weekend in Oxford as the scuffling Rebels baseball team is set to host in-state rival Mississippi State at Swayze Field. The Grove Bowl Games will be broadcast on SEC Network+ with the commentating crew of Tom Hart and Jordan Rodgers. The Ole Miss Radio Network will also be on site with the voices of David Kellum, Harry Harrison, John Darnell and Brett Norsworthy.

Admission is free to this year's event, and it will begin at 3 p.m. CT on April 13.
