Aidan Fisch Says Goodbye to Pitt Basketball

In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- Aidan Fisch spent five years with the Pitt Panthers, working his way up from team manager to walk-on player to eventually earn a scholarship in his final season with the team. Now, it's time to say goodbye.
Fisch gave himself 20 hours after the team's second round NCAA Tournament loss to Xavier to process the emotions of this landmark season, one in which he and the Panthers won 24 games and earned the program's first bid to the Big Dance in seven years.
The past 4 years with @Pitt_MBB have been more than I could’ve ever dreamed of. To all my coaches, I am eternally grateful that you took a chance on me and a huge thank you to all the amazing teammates, managers, and fans that made these 4 years what they were. H2P 💙💛 pic.twitter.com/v1gC6ahSLM

Fisch's important contributions came from behind the scenes. He was an emotional leader for this squad that already had so many veterans to follow. His bucket scored in the waning seconds of a blowout to Syracuse, which elicited the loudest roar of Senior Night from the crowd at the Petersen Events Center, remains one of the best moments from this past season.
Assistant coach Tim O'Toole expressed his gratitude for Fisch's contributions on Twitter.
Love you Fish Daddy!!!!!
