Pitt Reached Out to Florida State Transfer Naheem McLeod

PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers are looking to add some depth to their frontcourt following the loss of John Hugley to the transfer portal and a recent addition to the portal is now a target for the Panthers.
Florida State transfer Naheem McLeod entered the portal just three days ago and has already garnered plenty of interest from teams around the country, including Pitt. According to a report from 247Sports, Syracuse, St. John’s, Villanova, Gonzaga, Arizona, Clemson, South Carolina, Wake Forest, Texas, West Virginia, Georgetown, Memphis, Butler, Minnesota, Rutgers, Ole Miss and Temple are just some of the many programs to reach out.

The 7'3, 220-pound McLeod averaged 3.8 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game last season and was a three-star recruit per 247Sports coming out of Chipola Community College in Florida.
The Panthers have two scholarships remaining after adding Zack Austin and Ishmael Leggett through the thransfer portal earlier this spring.
