Trenches Front and Center at Pitt Spring Practice

The trenches were front and center on day six of spring practices for the Pitt Panthers.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers are half a dozen practices deep into Spring Football and the play in the trenches was front and center.

Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi praised the intensity of these opening practices, particularly as the Panthers put pads on for the first time since closing the 2022 season with a Sun Bowl victory over UCLA.

Later, guard Blake Zubovic and tackle Ryan Jacoby talked about a changing of the guard with four members of the starting offensive line from a year ago headed for the ranks of professional football. Defensive tackle Devin Danielson rounded out the post-practice media availability with a discussion of his antics from the Miami game and depth along the defensive line, which is also losing lots of production and experience to the NFL this offseason.
