In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- Kenny Minchey has cemented himself as one of the best high school quarterbacks in his class after a strong showing at the Elite 11 Finals in Los Angeles, California this week. The future Pitt Panther, Minchey was described as steady and accurate, if not particularly flashy, by some in attendance.
He won the Pro Day event on Wednesday, moving him into the top 11 signal-callers in attendance and he never looked back. Strong showing on the final day during seven-on-seven competition solidified Pitt's only quarterback commit in the 2023 class as an Elite 11 player.

Minchey, a four-star recruit and the No. 21 quarterback in his class according to 247Sports, committed to Pitt in late April. He was the first recruit in a class that is has risen dramatically up national rankings after a flood of players committed in June.
