GG comes into the NBA draft as the youngest player available in the draft pool. After initially being the No. 1 player in the nation for the 2023 class and projected No. 1 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, GG Jackson II decided to reclassify to the 2022 class and enroll early at South Carolina under new head coach Lamont Paris, becoming the 4th five-star in school history. GG led the Gamecocks in scoring this past season as an 18-year-old freshman, scoring 15.4 points per game and earning SEC All-freshman honors.

With the Draft coming up, many questions regarding Jackson's potential career trajectory will be answered soon. The biggest question right now is where he will be picked, considering he was the projected No.1 pick for next year's class. Before the lottery draft, GG has been talked about going anywhere from the top 5 to the top 20, with most mock drafts projecting as a lottery pick.

This weekend, National Recruiting Analyst at On3 Jamie Shaw released his Mock Draft, where he has GG Jackson II going No. 10 to the Dallas Mavericks, teaming up with Kyrie Irving and Luka Dončić, as well as big man Christian Wood. This would be a very intriguing pick for Dallas, adding a guy of his caliber at No. 10 to a team that just missed the playoffs and made a few deep runs with a roster with less talent than this projected roster.

You can tune in to ESPN to see where GG Jackson gets picked on June 22nd.
