South Carolina's men's basketball team will be getting a bit of extra attention in their first NCAA Tournament Appearance in seven years.

Speaking to people who aren't just South Carolina Gamecock fans, if you're looking for a great story to follow in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, Lamont Paris and South Carolina are, objectively speaking, one of the better ones in the field. Go from 11 wins this past season to a program-record tying 26 wins this Winter, the Gamecocks have shattered expectations on their journey back to the big dance.

With the Cinderella story-esque potential being there, along with Paris being a familiar name and face for diehard college basketball fans, it appears that NCAA's media team wants to get to know the program on a deeper level. It was announced on Monday afternoon that Carolina will be one of six teams who will participate in the "NCAA March Madness Confidential" series, which will give onlookers a behind-the-scenes view of what goes on when games aren't being played.

It'll be great exposure for the program, who will get to show prospective recruits and portal players what being a part of Paris' team is like.
