South Carolina football signee Dylan Stewart stole the majority of the storylines coming out of Central Florida in practice No. 1. Yesterday, it was future Gamecock QB and WR Dante Reno and Debron Gatling that made the X timelines. Gatling, an agile route runner, created separation on what appeared to be a post-corner route, followed by a beautiful over the shoulder throw from Reno hitting him in stride.

Personification anyone?

We'll take a wait and see approach, but it's obvious the two have already made a connection prior to this event shown by their back and forth interactions on X. One thing is for sure, it'll be fun to see Reno in a practice setting with the Gamecocks this coming Spring, and you know we'll do our very best here at Gamecocks Digest to keep our readers up to speed on the beat.

Reporters at Under Armor Next All-America caught up with Gatling asking him why he South Carolina over Georgia Tech and Texas A&M, he relayed, "I felt wanted and it felt like home, they did a real good job on the OV, and Coach Stepp kept tryin me and trying me". The 2024 receiver was also asked what type of player the Gamecocks will get and he answered, "They're going to get a winner, some one's who going to compete and who going to turn the program around."
