BREAKING: 2025 WR Jayden Sellers Commits To South Carolina
South Carolina football fans are already looking forward to what freshman quarterback LaNorris Sellers could do for the Gamecocks beginning potentially in 2024. As of Thursday afternoon, they now have two to look forward to, as LaNorris' younger brother, 2025 wide receiver Jayden Sellers, announced his commitment to Shane Beamer and his staff on X.
Jayden is the first 2025 commitment for Beamer and Co. and gives South Carolina a headstart in the Palmetto State for the 2025 class. Sellers committed to the Gamecocks over other Power 4 programs like Syracuse and Cincinnati. He's rated by On3 Sports as the 50th best wide receiver prospect in the 2025 class and the 4th best prospect in the state of South Carolina for that cycle. Sellers also happens to be teammates with another 2025 target in defensive lineman Amare Adams, which can only serve to help the Gamecocks in that recruitment.
With Jayden now in the fold, wide receivers coach Justin Stepp can now put more attention towards other receiver targets like Thomas Blackshear, Je'rel Bolder and David Rodriguez.
