Where Do Rattler & Legette Fall In Pro Football Network's NFL Mock Draft?

The Pro Football Network thinks two former South Carolina football stars will be selected in the first four rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft.

With the Reese's Senior Bowl over now, the last chance for some athletes to show off their skills will be the 2024 NFL Combine. As we get closer to the draft held in Detroit, Michigan, on April 25th, the Mock Drafts will continue coming out over the next few months. Today, we look at Pro Football Network's (PFN) 7-Round 2024 NFL Mock Draft.

The first Gamecock that Owain Jones of PFN has come off the board is Wide Receiver Xavier Legette, going to the Kansas City Chiefs in the first round with the 31st pick in the draft. Jones highlights that the chief's receiver room didn't impress this past season, despite making it to another Super Bowl, and needs more quality depth to help Patrick Mahomes. He also had this to say about Legette:

Xavier Legette's special athleticism will see him rocket up boards once the combine comes around and we get testing numbers. His speed and power profile are overwhelming, and he could shine as a boundary receiver in Kansas City.

Pro Football Network didn't have the next Gamecock drafted until the 4th round, with Spencer Rattler coming off the board with the 125th pick and going to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Especially after his Senior Bowl practices and game performance, I see him jumping into the third round and possibly even a second-round draft pick, depending on what he does in Indy, as he still has the NFL Combine to wow the scouts and front office personnel.

As we know, different sites will have different mock drafts up until the final day before the draft and even some the day of. Most can agree that Legette and Rattler impressed during the Senior Bowl, and each still has the chance to improve their stock, especially Rattler.
