Dante Reno Set To Represent South Carolina In Elite 11 Finals

South Carolina Football commit Dante Reno is set to participate in the most prestigious 7-on-7 camp on the high school circuit, the Elite 11 Finals.

Los Angeles, California, plays host to the nation's top quarterback talents this week as the Elite 11 Finals kicks off on Wednesday evening at Redondo Union High School. Shane Beamer and South Carolina's Football program will be represented through their quarterback commit for the 2024 class in Dante Reno.

Reno will compete alongside nineteen other quarterbacks in Los Angeles over the next three days, something that likely won't phase him in the slightest due to his camp experience he's already built up. Dante has already earned an invite to the Under-Armour All-America Game thanks to his Elite Underclassmen Camp performance back in late April. Now, he'll look to prove that he can compete with the best gunslingers the 2024 recruiting cycle has to offer.

We here at SI and FanNation will be in attendance for the event. Here are some other notable prospects who will be in attendance for the Elite 11 Finals over the next three days.

  • Dylan Raiola, Georgia - Raiola is the nation's consensus No. 1 quarterback in 2024. With the arm talent to spare, Raiola should be more than comfortable making all the throws this week.
  • Julian Sayin, Alabama - The Alabama commit is an intriguing eval considering he produces elite-level arm talent and traits from a non-threatening physical stature. It should be an eye-opening week for all based on the tape.
  • DJ Lagway, Florida - Perhaps the most "Wow" highlight tape at the Elite 11 Finals. Everything Lagway does is seemingly jaw-dropping. Consistency will be the key this week for the raw-powered Mustang from Texas.
  • Ryan Puglisi, Georgia - "The Other Georgia commit" is a notorious thrower of the football with Power 5 football coaches. All he did last summer was receive committable offers from the nation's premier programs after throwing for them at camps. He's got the arm talent, and strength to win an event like this.
