Where Will Jalewis Solomon Commit?

In the 2024 cycle, Torrian Gray and the Gamecocks have put together a solid class of defensive backs, having secured commitments from four-star safety Kelvin Hunter, four-star cornerback Braydon Lee, and three-star safety David Bucey. The program hopes to add another member to their secondary later this afternoon when 2024 four-star defensive back and Georgia native Jalewis Solomon announces his college decision.
The 6'0, 185-pound Schley County High School product has received interest from some of the most high-profile programs in college football, including Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, LSU, Michigan, Southern Cal, Tennessee, Florida, Florida State, and several others. However, as the Summer has progressed, three programs, in particular, have stood out as finalists for Solomon: Auburn, Florida State, and South Carolina.
Each of Jalewis' last three unofficial visits have been taken to each program, with Auburn last hosting the rising senior this past Saturday. In terms of going through the weeds of this recruitment, all of these programs have something in their favor. Florida State has hosted Solomon the most, South Carolina might have the strongest relationship, and Jalewis' older brother currently plays for the Auburn Tigers. However, based on what GamecocksDigest has heard recently, we like where the Gamecocks stand heading into Solomon's announcement.
Final Prediction: South Carolina
