BREAKING: Gamecock Target Malcolm Ziglar Has Made His Decision

2024 safety and South Carolina Football target Malcolm Ziglar Has made his college decision. After narrowing his recruitment down to eight different schools back late June, Ziglar decided on Monday afternoon that he'll take his talents to Chapel Hill and committed to the North Carolina Tar Heels.
North Carolina was the last team to host Malcolm Ziglar for a visit, which took place on the last full weekend of June, and considering the fact that Ziglar's residence of Fuquay Varina, NC is located just 31 miles away from Chapel Hill, it makes sense why the Tar Heels landed the rising senior. With Ziglar off the board, the only defensive back target left on the Gamecocks' recruiting board that could possibly join the class in the future is Alabama native Kaleb Harris, who is listed as a safety and officially visited South Carolina back on the weekend of June 9th through the 11th.
Unless other targets emerge, the Gamecocks are likely done with the defensive secondary in the 2024 cycle.
