South Carolina Offers 2026 QB Landon Duckworth

South Carolina's Football program dispensed offers to multiple 2026 quarterbacks last week, including Jackson, AL native Landon Duckworth.

South Carolina's new offensive coordinator in Dowell Loggains was quite the busy man this past week, as he offered five quarterbacks in total, with three hailing from the class of 2025 and two others coming from the class of 2026. One of the 2026 quarterbacks that was offered was Landon Duckworth, a 6-foot-3 QB from Jackson, AL.

Landon was offered the same day as 2026 QB Jared Curtis, making a total of three quarterbacks in the class of 2026 with a South Carolina offer, with the third quarterback being the projected No. 1 QB in the 2026 class, Julian Lewis. Landon has seven offers from teams like Arkansas, Mississippi State, TCU, Texas A&M, UCF, Vanderbilt, and South Carolina.

When talking to Duckworth earlier this weekend about his relationship with Dowell Loggains, he stated that they "have a solid relationship" and that after meeting him at the Garnet and Black Spring Game on April 15th, they've "been at it ever since." Landon also likes the current direction of the football program under Shane Beamer, recalling his experience from the Spring game as showing him that there's "a lot of energy there."

With the rising sophomore likely adding to his offer sheet throughout the rest of his recruitment, South Carolina being one of the early schools to offer him could be a key factor later down the road.
