Peyton Joseph Narrows Recruitment

One of the hardest-working recruiting duos in the country is South Carolina's offensive Line coach Lonnie Teasley and offensive analyst Greg Adkins, both of whom have been highly active in recruiting and enticing top high school offensive linemen around the country. Teasley and Adkins received some promising news Monday afternoon when 2025 IOL Peyton Joseph released named his top 12 schools in his recruitment, and the South Carolina Gamecocks made the cut.
The Georgia native is among the top offensive guard talents in the 2025 class, with On3 listing Joseph as a four-star and the tenth-best interior offensive lineman in the country. Though he typically plays left guard at Peach County high school, the 6-3 lineman is also athletic and strong enough to line up at tackle.
As a result of his immense talent, Joseph's top 12 schools include prominent programs from all across the United States. Aside from South Carolina, Joseph includes SEC Schools Auburn, Ole Miss, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida. West Virginia, Michigan, Miami, Florida State, and Ohio State round out his top 12.
The Gamecocks have made tremendous strides in their recruitment at the offensive tackle position but are now looking to make their unit more balanced by adding talent at the guard position. With Markee Anderson and Trovon Baugh both signing in the 2023 class, along with the recent commitment of 2024 interior lineman Blake Franks, progress is being made, and could extend to the 2025 cycle with prospects like Peyton Joseph.
