COLLEGE STATION - Expectations were high for Myles Garrett when he selected first overall in the 2017 NFL Draft. The former Texas A&M defensive end shined for the Aggies' defense, collecting 31 career sacks and 141 tackles. 

Three years into his NFL career and the former Aggies has transformed into one of the league's top pass rusher. After a promising sophomore campaign, Garrett was expected to contend for Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2019. 

In his first two games, Garrett is already leading the NFL in total sacks. On Monday against the New York Jets, the 23-year-old pass rusher collected five total tackles, three for sacks in the Cleveland Browns 23-3 victory. 

For the season, Garrett now has five sacks, one more than Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Shaquill Barrett. With the Los Angeles Rams arriving to town on Sunday night, fans could expect to see a defensive showcase featuring the young pass rusher and 2018 Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald. 

Let's check in to see how the rest of the Aggies preformed over the weekend. 

Denver Broncos OLB Von Miller: The former Aggie pass rusher saw limited plays against the Chicago Bears. Miller finished with one solo tackle and one assist in the loss in the 16-14 loss. 

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers picked up their first win of the season Thursday night against the Carolina Panthers. Evans finished with four catches and 61 yards. For the season, he's collected six catches for 89 total yards.

Atlanta Falcons OT Jake Matthews: Matthews started once again at left tackle and preformed well. He made an impressive block in the fourth quarter to set up a 54-yard touchdown catch from Julio Jones. That would give Atlanta the 24-20 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. 

Arizona Cardinals WR Christian Kirk: The second-year wideout's team might have lost, but Kirk won Sunday afternoon. He collected six catches for a career-high 114 yards.

New England Patriots DE Michael Bennett: The Patriots shut out Miami, 43-0. Bennett started once again and collected one solo tackle and one sack.

Seattle Seahawks OL Germain Ifedi: The Seahawks defeated Pittsburgh, 28-26. Ifedi started at right tackle and had three penalties called against him. Still, Seattle's offense finished with 425 total yards. 

Jacksonville Jaguars PK Josh Lambo: If not for the team decision to go for the two-point conversion, Lambo could have been a hero Sunday. He we would go 2 for 2 in field goal attempts, making it from 32 and 40 yards. The Jaguars would lose 13-12 against Houston.

New Orleans Saints OL Erik McCoy: With Drew Brees leaving early, Saints fell to the Rams, 27-9. In his second start at center, McCoy helped the team rack up 244 total yards and led commanded the trenches.

Cincinnati Bengals PK Randy Bullock: Bullock was 1-for-2 on field goal tries, hitting from 37 yards while missing from 52 yards. He'd make both his extra point attempts in the team's 41-17 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Tennessee Titans QB Ryan Tannehill: Tannehill was active as the team's second-string quarterback on Sunday. The Titans would fall to the Indianapolis Colts, 19-17.

Kansas City Chiefs S Armani Watts: The second-year safety, missed most of his rookie season due to injury. Watt would see action but did not record a tackle in the team's 28-10 victory over Oakland. 

Washington Redskins S Deshazor Everett: Everett would finish with two total tackles in the team's 31-21 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. 

Houston Texas FB Cullen Gillspia: The former 12th Man did play and saw snaps on both special teams and at fullback. He did not record a rush or catch in the team's 13-12 victory over Jacksonville.  

Cleveland Browns WR Damion Ratley:  Ratley had two catches for 50 yards in the team's 23-3 victory over New York Monday. He also played several snaps on special teams return. 

Los Angeles Rams WR Josh Reynolds: Reynolds was active in the team's victory over New Orleans. While he did play in multiple snaps, the former Aggie wideout did not record a catch and was not targeted. 

Cleveland Browns TE Ricky Seals-Jones: Similar to Reynolds, Seals-Jones was active and played, but was not targeted by Baker Mayfield in the team victory. Jones recently was elevated to the active roster. 

Detroit Lions LS Don Malbauch: Malbauch served in his 16th season as the Lions long snapper. He was used on punts, field goal attempts and point after attempts. 

Note: Baltimore's Ortaro Alaka, Daylon Mack, Green Bay's Kingsley Keke, Cincinnati's Travyeon Williams, Dallas' Donovan Wilson, Philadelphia's Daeshon Hall, Jacksonville's Cedric Ogbuehi and New England's Jermaine Eluemunor were all listed as inactive. 

Note: Tampa Bay's Justin Evans and Green Bay's Jace Sternberger are currently on the injured reserve to begin the season.
