Texas A&M Well Represented On Preseason All-SEC Team
Jimbo Fisher's fellow SEC coaches have a healthy respect for the talent assembled by Texas A&M. The Aggies placed a program-high nine student-athletes on the 2021 Preseason Coaches' All-Southeastern Conference Football Team, announced Tuesday by the league office.

The A&M contingent is highlighted by a junior offensive trio of Isaiah Spiller, Jalen Wydermyer and Kenyon Green on the first team. The second team features DeMarvin Leal and Ainias Smith, while the third team tabbed Jayden Peevy, Leon O’Neal Jr. and Smith again. Smith picked up second-team honors as a return specialist, with a third-team designation at wide receiver and all-purpose back.
The Aggies' previous record of All-SEC honorees was eight set last season. SEC coaches have selected a preseason All-SEC team for the last 19 years.

The Aggies will open the 2021 season Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. on ESPNU against Kent State.
