A thrilling opening round of the NCAA baseball tournament has come to a close. From the 64 teams that made the postseason, just 16 remain. Of those 16, eight will secure a coveted spot in Omaha, Nebraska, for the College World Series.

Find the full list of matchups, game schedule, and TV broadcasts for the Super Regional round of the college baseball postseason below.

College Baseball Super Regionals Matchups

The Super Regionals begin Friday, June 9 and wrap Sunday, June 11. This round is a best-of-three series between victors of each of the Regionals. National seeds are noted below in parentheses.

Wake Forest vs. Alabama

(1) Wake Forest (50-10) vs. (16) Alabama (43-19)
Winston-Salem, North Carolina

The No. 1 overall seed, Wake Forest, hosts one of the hottest teams in Alabama. The Crimson Tide persevere despite losing their head coach late in the season due to a betting scandal in the program. The Demon Deacons easily disposed of their regional competition and seek their first trip to the College World Series since 1955.

Stanford vs. Texas

(8) Stanford (41-17) vs. Texas (41-20)
Stanford, California

Stanford clinched the final spot in the Super Regionals after upending Texas A&M on Monday night. The Cardinal now face Texas at home, seeking their fourth consecutive College World Series berth. The Longhorns managed to win the Coral Gables Regional as the No. 2 seed, beating out Miami, Louisiana, and Maine.

LSU vs. Kentucky

(5) LSU (46-15) vs. (12) Kentucky (40-19)
Baton Rouge, Louisiana

The Tigers managed to stand pat as the national favorites all year long. That is, until a late-season slide and early exit from the SEC Tournament knocked them down to the No. 5 national seed. LSU faces Kentucky – rated No. 2 in RPI per D1 Baseball – after the Wildcats emerged victorious from their own regional. Expect plenty of fireworks in this series as both teams are capable of winning a CWS title.

Tennessee vs. Southern Miss

Tennessee (41-19) vs. Southern Miss (45-18)
Hattiesburg, Mississippi

Neither team claims a national seed and neither were a Regional host – a historical rarity that won't be so rare in this tournament. Tennessee entered the postseason as the top-rated No. 2 seed and beat a red-hot Clemson to reach the Supers. Southern Miss is in the midst of a farewell tour of longtime coach Scott Berry, who retires at the end of the Golden Eagles' season.

Surprisingly, Southern Miss was awarded the host spot by the NCAA.

Florida vs. South Carolina

(2) Florida (48-15) vs. (15) South Carolina (42-19)
Gainesville, Florida

South Carolina swept Florida earlier this year in Columbia. However, the Gators rolled through their region – one that included tough Texas Tech and UConn teams – and get this series at home. The Gators boast one of the best pitching rotations in the tournament, but the Gamecocks' arms came to play this summer.

Virginia vs. Duke

(7) Virginia (48-12) vs. Duke (38-22)
Charlottesville, Virginia

An impressive performance by No. 2 seed Duke notched them the victory in the Conway Regional. It's a battle between two solid pitching staffs, with Duke rostering arguably the best bullpen in the tournament. Virginia made quick work of a difficult regional draw and looks to avenge a late season series loss in Durham.

Oregon vs. Oral Roberts

Oregon (40-20) vs. Oral Roberts (49-11)
Eugene, Oregon

Though they're the lone No. 4 seed to emerge from the regional round, Oral Roberts owns the nation's longest win streak at 21 games. Oregon has their fair share of major upsets, having bounced Vanderbilt in their own regional and upending Xavier in the final. The Ducks would be wise not to overlook the lowest-seeded Super Regional participant.

Indiana State vs. TCU

(14) Indiana State (45-15) vs. TCU (40-22)
Fort Worth, Texas

Despite being a regional host, Indiana State will not host the Super Regional due to a scheduling conflict with the Special Olympics. Instead, the Sycamores look to defy the odds once again in Fort Worth against TCU, one of the nation's hottest teams. The Frogs have won 14 of their last 16 games, which included a Big 12 Tournament title.
