In this story:

Saturday’s Big 12 games, unlike most other Saturdays, did not have a huge number of upsets, with most of the top teams in the league coming away with wins.

The only ranked team to lose Saturday was No. 19 BYU, who lost 93-83 to Oklahoma State. The game was in Stillwater, and the win gave the Pokes their third Big 12 victory of the season.

Road wins are hard to get in Big 12 play, but on Saturday, four visiting teams won. In Manhattan, thanks to a buzzer-beater three-pointer by Jameer Nelson Jr., TCU came away with a 75-72 win over Kansas State.

Cincinnati traveled to Orlando and escaped with a two-point win over UCF, 76-74. In the only game featuring two ranked games, No. 6 Kansas beat No. 25 Oklahoma in Norman. And the other team to get a road win was No. 12 Baylor who defeated West Virginia 94-81.

No. 3 Houston had no problem with the Longhorns, getting an 82-61 win at home. No. 10 Iowa State continues to show that Hilton Coliseum may be the toughest place to play in the Big 12 as the Cyclones defeated Texas Tech 82-74.

The conference’s NET ranking of 45.9 is the lowest of all leagues. The next lowest are the Big Ten at 61.4 and the SEC at 68.3

The Big 12 is the only conference with 10 of the top 38 and 12 of the top 80 teams in the NET rankings: 1. Houston, 8. Iowa State, 10. BYU, 11. Baylor, 16. Kansas, 26. Texas Tech, 33. Texas, 35. Cincinnati, 36. TCU, 38. Oklahoma, 67. UCF, and 80. K-State.
