Know Your Foe: Oklahoma State Basketball Players to Watch

In this story:
#22 Kalib Boone
Three-star Forward from Tulsa, Oklahoma Senior
The 6-9 198 lb. forward is not the largest forward in size, but he uses a tall frame to block shots and defend. Boone leads the Cowboys in scoring. He is an excellent scorer and one of the toughest forwards in the Big 12 to defend. He can score in a lot of different ways, whether it be under the basket or mid-range. Boone is also a very efficient shooter; he knows when and when not to take shots. TCU will need to keep pressure on Boone, or he could be a problem, especially with a few Horned Frog players tending to injury. Boone is playing so well right now and is tough to guard. The last time he faced TCU, the Frogs could not slow him down; he scored twenty-five points. The Frogs need this win, and the key to this is slowing down Kalib Boone.

#5 Caleb Asberry
Five-star Guard from Pflugerville, Texas Senior
The 6-3 165 lb. veteran guard has been key to this team for quite some time. Asberry can get hot and be an outstanding shooter. He is swift and shifty, making him tough to guard as well. The last time he played TCU, he dropped 19 points and was 3-6 on the three-ball. In the previous game, TCU could not slow down Oklahoma State's three-point shooting. They can't let them stay open if they want this win.

#51 John-Michael Wright
Guard from Fayetteville, North Carolina Senior
The 6-1 190 lb. guard is a little small; however, his speed and court vision can make you pay. The last time Wright played the Horned Frogs, he dropped 17 points, including going 4-6 on the three-point shot. TCU will have to improve in defending him to win this game.

#1 Bryce Thompson
Five-star Guard from Tulsa, Oklahoma Junior
Bryce Thompson is a transfer from Kansas and has served a significant role on this Oklahoma State team. Thompson is a very smooth scorer with a remarkable ability to finish. He is a three-level scorer and can score from pretty much any place on the court. TCU will have to watch out for Thompson because if he gets a hot hand, it could be a problem. Like Boone, Bryce Thompson has also been very productive as of late. He has been a critical factor on both sides of the ball. TCU shut him down. However, we know he can get hot anytime.

Playing in B12 is tough, but at 6'6 he has shown decent scoring abilities to secure a pro future. Despite interior struggles, 3pt shooting and self creation are more solid than ever. And on D has tools to hold his own at every level. pic.twitter.com/PS0Qss5zAs
