Men's Basketball Poll Watching Week 15: Frogs Still Ranked, Barely

The TCU Horned Frogs men's basketball team (17-8) once again dropped in both polls this week after losing three straight Big 12 conference games.

Three weeks ago, the Frogs were ranked as high as No. 11 and on the verge of cracking the Top Ten. Now, after going 2-4 the last three weeks the Frogs find themselves falling lower and lower in the weekly polls.

In this week's polls, TCU dropped five spots in both polls. The Frogs are now No. 22 in the AP Top 25 poll and No. 24 in the Coaches Poll.

Alabama jumped into the top spot in both polls after Purdue suffered their third loss of the season to Northwestern on Saturday. Houston remains in second place. Purdue dropped to third in both polls.

Six teams from the Big 12 remain ranked in the Top 25, with three of them in the Top 10. This is the fifth straight week to have six teams from the conference ranked. There is no rest for the weary, as every game more than likely has at least one ranked opponent, if not both. In addition to TCU (22/24), other ranked Big 12 teams include Kansas (5/7), Texas (6/5), Baylor (9/9), Kansas State (12/14), and Iowa State (19/18). Oklahoma State is receiving votes in both polls this week.
