Texas Tech Guard- #2 Pop Isaacs

Texas Tech has had great success this season, especially in a very challenging Big 12 conference. Sophomore guard Pop Isaacs has been one of the key driving forces behind their recent success. The 6 '2'', 170 lb. guard has been an excellent scorer thus far for this Red Raider team.

Isaacs is an excellent three-pointer shooter who can pull up from almost anywhere on the court. He is a dangerous weapon who can move the ball quickly. This makes it challenging for defenses, wearing them out early in matchups. He is also a great playmaker with great court vision. If he gets hot, he is one of the best players in the nation. He has been the key to Tech's recent success. He finds open players and lanes quickly, making it very hard for defenses to get set and guard.

The Horned Frogs are a very quick team, so I expect them to be able to keep up with Texas Tech. They will have to be on their A-game because Texas Tech might be the best team in this Big 12 conference.

Other Players To Watch For:

  • Senior Forward- #22 Warren Washington
    • Leads team in average rebounds (7.8) and Blocks (1.8)
  • Senior Guard- #6 Joe Toussaint
    • Leads team in average assists (4.0), average steals (1.1), and second in average scoring (13.4)
