Tennessee-Lipscomb midweek matchup updates.

The No. 1 Tennessee BaseVols are set to take on the Lipscomb Bison for a Tuesday evening midweek contest in Lindsey Nelson Stadium. 

The Vols enter Tuesday night on a program-record 19-game winning streak and 27-1 (9-0) SEC record.

Blade Tidwell is slated to log his first start of the season. Tidwell first appeared in the Vols' midweek contest against Western Carolina last week, and he did not see action in Tennessee's series sweep against Vanderbilt last weekend. 

Tennessee's entire starting lineup, as well as the pitching matchup, is below.

-Malik Williams knocks a single to shallow center right. First hit and baserunner of the game for the Bison. 

-Rudy Maxwell strikes out swinging for a big K from Tidwell.

-Williams steals second. 

-Trace Willhoite strikes out looking. Another impressive at bat for Tidwell.

-Trey Lipscomb cracks a low flying double to left field.

-Drew Gilbert doubles down the right field line and is out at third after rounding second. Close call and it's under review. Likely out at third. ---Call Stands.

-David Coppedge bunts into Trey Lipscomb's glove for the first out of the inning to keep the pair of Bison at first and second. 

-Borom steals second, Ketchup steals third. 

**Will Mabrey to pitch for Wyatt Evans**

-Mason Lundgrin strikes out swinging to end the inning.

-Seth Stephenson bunts to the pitcher on a 0-0 count and shows off his impressive speed to reach first. 

-Stephenson goes to steal second but is tagged out after he over-slides at second 

-Jordan Beck booms a home run well over the left field porches for Tennessee's second homer of the contest.

-Tiger Borom hits a groundout RBI as Bertoliani scores. Vols lead 4-1 as the Bison have their first run of the game.

**Mark McLaughlin to pitch for Kirby Connell**

-David Coppedge strikes out swinging. 

-Maddux Houghton strikes out looking. Impressive stuff from McLaughlin to leave a Bison on third.
