Dane Brugler Has Three Volunteers On Big Board

In this story:
Draft season is upon us. We are a few weeks away from the NFL Combine, meaning evaluators are releasing their big boards ahead of the predraft workouts. The Athletic's Dane Brugler is one of the most respected analysts in the draft community, and he recently released his draft guide.
Tennessee has a host of NFL hopefuls that have a big few weeks coming up. Wide receiver Jalin Hyatt, wide receiver Cedric Tillman, and offensive tackle Darnell Wright all made his top-75, although quarterback Hendon Hooker didn't make the list.
Hyatt came in at No. 22, slotting him as a first-round talent. As Brugler surmises, teams looking for a downfield threat that can stretch the defense must give Hyatt a long look.
"For teams looking for a polished route runner who can uncover quickly in the short-to-intermediate part of the field, Jalin Hyatt won’t be valued this high. But for those coveting field-stretching speed, tracking skills and reliable hands, the Tennessee product will have value in the top 25."
Wright has made waves after his performance at the Reese's Senior Bowl. His athleticism and power make him a natural draw for any franchise, and he was excellent in pass protection for the Volunteers.
"An undraftable prospect a year ago, Darnell Wright flipped the script as a senior by moving to right tackle and producing impressive tape (including a standout performance against Will Anderson Jr.). He will get himself in trouble when he sacrifices technique for his nasty play style, but he blocks with extraordinary power and torque and stays square in pass protection."
Tillman was Brugler's No. 74 prospect. While injuries hampered his 2022 season, Tillman had an existing body of work and has the physical tools to become a worthwhile day-two pick.
