Kaleb Beasley Will Miss Remainder of Spring Practice

Tennessee Volunteers corner Kaleb Beasley will miss the remainder of spring practices after suffering a fibula fracture.
Tennessee corner Kaleb Beasley fractured his fibula during spring practices and will miss the remainder of drills. He will still participate in team meetings and should be fully ready for fall camp; however, within his first few days on campus, he's already been sidelined.
Beasley ranked as the No. 158 prospect in the 2024 signing class, according to the 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He signed with the Vols over programs like Colorado and Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish made big pushes throughout his recruitment, but Beasley was locked in with the Vols. He grew up a Tennessee fan and played for Lipscomb Academy, a Nashville powerhouse known for producing elite prospects.
Defensive backs coach Willie Martinez has been attemtpting to retool Tennessee's secondary since he came back to the university. While Beasley likely won't factor into their plans this season, he is a part of their long-term plans at the corner position. He's long and has the athleticism to matchup with No. 1 SEC wide receivers. He'll work to progress back from this injury to ensure he can get reps with the team in the fall. He was an early enrollee but just graduated high school in March, so he didn't get as many reps as the signees that arrived in January.
