On Sunday, 2025 four-star linebacker Jaedon Harmon (Rome, Ga.) committed to Alabama over the Tennessee Volunteers.

Rome High School linebacker Jaedon Harmon has been a long-time target of the Tennessee Volunteers. He made his college commitment on Sunday, and while he won't be playing college football for the University of Tennessee, the two sides will often see each other soon.

Harmon chose the Alabama Crimson Tide over Clemson, Ohio State, and Tennessee. He had many suitors coming after him, mostly national programs with prestigious reputations. According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Harmon ranks as the No. 204 prospect in the 2025 class. He visited Knoxville, Tennessee, numerous times over the past year and had close relationships with the coaching staff.

Alabama now as the No. 6 class in the 2025 recruiting cycle, while Tennessee has the No. 15 class. They have a big summer coming up with many prospects making their way to campus and getting additional looks at the Volunteers. We'll see how they continue to progress over the next few months.
