2025 four-star wide receiver Marcus Harris (Santa Ana, Ca.) is currently on campus visiting the Tennessee Volunteers.

Mater Dei High School wide receiver Marcus Harris isn't afraid to leave California. The talented pass catcher has summer official visits scheduled with Alabama, Oregon, Tennessee, and Texas. The closest destination proximity-wise would be the Ducks, whose campus is a 14-hour car ride from Mater Dei.

Harris made his first trip to Knoxville, Tennessee, for their junior day event in January. He set up an official visit with the Vols for the weekend of June 6 but decided he had to see campus again before making the trip. Harris posted a picture of Neyland Stadium to his X account on Thursday afternoon, marking his second time on Rocky Top.

He ranks as the No. 152 prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. Harris tallied 43 receptions for 644 yards and six touchdowns during his junior season; he posted the same yardage total in his sophomore year on 25 receptions, but did manage to score 12 touchdowns. Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre is fond of Harris, as are several Tennessee coaches. We'll see how the compete in this battle, but the mutual interest is heating up.

Tennessee's 2025 Recruiting Class

  • Justin Baker, RB
  • Joakim Dodson, WR
  • Jack VanDorselaer, TE
  • Ethan Utley, DL
  • Dylan Lewis, CB
