Nick Brooks Sets Spring Unofficial Visits

John F. Kennedy High School offensive tackle Nick Brooks is a mountain of a man, measuring in at 6-foot-7 and 345 pounds. Brooks commands 32 offers from various national programs and resides in Iowa, home of the Hawkeyes. The in-state program has done a nice job of presenting themselves to Brooks, but several national programs have caught his eye.

Brooks has confirmed six unofficial visits for the spring with On3's Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons. He will stop by Alabama, Colorado, Iowa, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Texas. Brooks will be in Knoxville, Tennessee, on April 6, the day following his trip to see the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The Vols have been adamant about adding several premium offensive tackles in the 2025 recruiting class. They are after David Sanders Jr., Juan Gaston, Jaelyne Matthews, and several others. We'll see how things progress in this recruitment, as Tennessee would love to add someone with Brooks's size. He's been an Iowa lean throughout the process but is still evaluating his options. He's got a soft spot for SEC football, as he spent his freshman year of high school playing in the state of Georgia. It should be a busy spring for the No. 173 prospect in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

Tennessee's 2025 Recruiting Class

  • George MacIntyre, QB
  • Justin Baker, RB
  • Joakim Dodson, WR
  • Jack VanDorselaer, TE
  • Dylan Lewis, CB
  • Tyler Redmond, CB
