Who Remains on The Lady Vols Basketball Roster?

In this story:
The Tennessee Lady Vols are in deep trouble, as they have only one player left on the roster, with the rest entering the portal or being out of eligibility. They will also only have two incoming freshmen if things stay the same, which means the Lady Vols will need to go get some players from the transfer portal.
Here is who remains on the roster, and joining the roster as of now.
Jaida Civil - Guard (Not In Portal)

Jaida Civil is one of the more intriguing players on the roster, as she has all the talent one could want. She is going to see a significant role increase and will be a base part of this team if she doesn't enter her name into the transfer portal. Here is more information on the Tennessee Lady Vols star, according to utsports.com.
- Led UT in points for the first time in her career with 17 and tied for team lead with eight rebounds at #6/6 LSU.
- Notched her first career double-double with a carer-high 21 points and a team-leading 10 rebounds at Oklahoma.
- Tied for the team lead with a career-best 10 rebounds and scored eight points in UT’s win over Missouri.
- Tallied six points, six rebounds and two assists at #1/1 UConn.
- Contributed eight of the 38 points UT's three freshmen provided and had six rebounds in the win over No.11 Kentucky.
- Registered 12 points, six rebounds, four steals, and one assists in her longest outing of the season (27 minutes) against Arkansas.
- Had personal SEC highs, registering seven points and five boards against Mississippi State.
- Tossed in five points, hit a three and grabbed a steal at Auburn.
- Pulled down six or more rebounds in three straight games vs. UCLA, Stanford, and Winthrop, and added nine points, four assists and two steals to her seven boards in the latter of those contests.
- Carded 13 points and led UT in assists with five in the contest at UT Martin.
- Got her first career start against UTSU, producing eight points, two assists and three steals.
- Scored 13 points in her collegiate debut vs. NC State, ranking third in team scoring. The last time a freshman scored in double figures in an opener for UT was when Marta Suarez did so in 2020 match up against Western Kentucky.
- One of the seven Lady Vols to score in double figures, with 10 points, in the exhibition victory over Columbus State.
Oliviyah Edwards - Forward (Incoming Five-Star Freshman)

Oliviyah Edwards is the prize recruit joining the Tennessee Lady Vols for the next season, as she is currently ranked as the No. 5 player in the country. She has all the talent in the world and is someone who has been viewed as a freak athlete, as she can even dunk. She will have a huge role with the Lady Vols next season, as she has hopes of playing for Caldwell still. Here is some more information on Edwards from an evaluation by 247Sports.
"Edwards is a fantastic frontcourt option when sprinting the lane in the open floor. In that regard, she is the most intriguing prospect in the class right now. She possesses a physical toolbox that no one else has. Edwards is also showing signs of making the 15-18 foot jumper when her feet are set. Her calling card is her willingness to rebound the basketball and be impactful in the paint," Brandon Clay said when scouting Edwards on 247Sports.
Gabby Minus - Forward (Incoming Four-Star Freshman)

Gabby Minus is one of the more intriguing additions the Lady Vols will be making, as she is a two-way threat that will allow her to see the court very early in her career. She is signed with the Lady Vols and is rated as a high four-star. She currently ranks as the No. 47 player in the high school scene and will be one competing for a major role this season. Here is more information from Clay, as he evaluated the talented prospect.
"Minus has progressed into one of the Southeast region's premier options at the forward position. Minus had her versatility on display this fall as a member of the Overtime Select League. Her ability to make open 3-pointers while serving as a presence on the glass is a tough combination. Minus has the skill combination to be a consistent threat on both ends of the floor. In the modern game, Minus projects as a third or fourth basketball handler offensively. Continuing to convert the open 3-pointer at a 34 percent or higher rate is a big key to her future success. I expect that to be a focus during her rehab progression as Minus will miss an extended period of time with a lower leg injury," Clay said when evaluating Minus back in 2024 on 247Sports.
