Longhorns Stun Stanford, Rally for 7-5 Win: Live Game Log
The Texas Longhorns (41-20) are back in action once again on Saturday night as they take on the Stanford Cardinal (42-17) in the first game of the Stanford Super Regional.
How these two teams managed their through their respective regionals was vastly different. The Longhorns swept their way through Coral Gables, including two straight wins over the hosting Miami Hurricanes.
Meanwhile in California, the Cardinal had to come out of the elimination bracket if they wanted to avoid being another national seed losing their own regional. They did, though, winning three straight elimination games to clinch their super regional spot against Texas.
