Four Longhorns Remain on NFL Rosters In Conference Championship Weekend

Four Texas Longhorns remain on NFL rosters ahead of the NFL's conference championship weekend, with two guaranteed to make the Super Bowl

The Texas Longhorns have been well represented throughout the NFL Playoffs, with multiple players scattered across the majority of teams in the postseason.

Now, heading into conference championship week, the are four left standing, with two guaranteed to land in the Super Bowl next month.

Justin Tucker

Representing the Longhorns this weekend will be kicker Justin Tucker and wide receiver Devin Duverney of the Baltimore Ravens, and defensive end Charles Ominehu of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Running back Keontay Ingram is a member of the Chiefs practice squad as well.

Last week with the Ravens, Tucker was 2 of 2 with field goals including a 53-yarder. He also went 4 for 4 on his extra-point attempts. Meanwhile, Duvernay has been primarily a special teams contributor for Baltimore, returning one punt for 11 yards.

Duvernay has four catches on nine targets for 18 yards and has rushed four times for 15 yards this season. He also has 23 pun returns for 290 yards and nine kick returns for 174 yards. Tucker - on his way to his seventh Pro Bowl - is 34 of 39 on field goals and 55 of 56 on extra points.

For the Chiefs, Omenihu had one tackle last week vs. the Bills. Omenihu has been key to Kansas City's defensive success this season, racking up 30 tackles and seven sacks for what has been arguably the best defense in the Patrick Mahomes era.
