    Texas Football: Former Longhorn DeShon Elliot Likely to Miss Rest of Season

    Ravens update status of safety after he suffers an injury against Cincinnati

    Former Texas Longhorn safety DeShon Elliot will likely miss the rest of the season, per a report from 247 Sports. 

    The team updated his status after he injured his knee in a game against divisional rival Cincinnati on Sunday. The former unanimous All American and All-Big 12 selection had seen his role in the Ravens defense expand prior to the injury. He had six tackles and one PBU so far this season. 

    It's a particularly tough blow for Elliot considering he missed 2018 with a fractured forearm.
