Texas football got some more bad news on the injury front over the weekend.

Both Chris Brown (broken arm), Juwan Mitchell (elbow sprain) and Jeffery McCulloch (dislocated shoulder) are expected to miss this week's game against Kansas.

Brown's forearm fracture will require surgery, likely sidelining him for the next six weeks. Jones' dislocated shoulder will sideline him for at least this week's game, though Herman doesn't expect the injury to be season-ending.

Mitchell's elbow sprain is "signifcant" according to Herman. It is unknown how long he'll be out at this time.

Running back Jordan Whittington is also out for the game against Kansas as he continues to recover from a sports hernia surgery he underwent earlier in the year.

The Longhorns are still without defensive backs Jalen Green (dislocated shoulder) , Caden Sterns (sprained knee) and Josh Thompson (broken foot).

DeMarvion Overshown (neck) and Collin Johnson's (head) statuses are still unknown.

Herman usually provides a final injury report during his Friday press conference.

Texas and Kansas will kick off at 6 p.m. on Saturday at DKR Memorial Stadium.
