Texas Announces Kickoff Times, Channels For 3 Games In 2023

The Texas Longhorns have the channels for five of their 12 matchups scheduled in their final season in the Big 12 before moving to the Southeastern Conference.

Mark your calendars, Longhorns fans.

The Texas Longhorns athletics department announced Wednesday the kickoff times and broadcast channels for three of their football games in 2023. Texas will begin its season at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium against the Rice Owls Sept. 2 at 2:30 p.m. Central Standard Time on Fox.

Two weeks later, the Longhorns will play the Wyoming Cowboys at home, kicking off at 7 p.m. CDT on Longhorn Network.

The Longhorns' last-ever regular season Big 12 kickoff time was also announced Wednesday, as Texas will play Texas Tech in the annual Battle For The Chancellor's Spurs on Nov. 24 at 6:30 p.m. CDT on ABC.

In addition to these matchups, it was previously announced that the Longhorns will play Alabama Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. CDT on ESPN and Oklahoma on ABC. The time of the Red River Showdown has yet to be announced.
