After Kansas sealed the victory with a 38-33 score, the Texas football fans at DKR erupted with the iconic "OU sucks" chant.

For one, Texas football's college football playoff (CFP) odds have risen quickly.

The Longhorns have increased their odds from +2500 to +1600 while the Sooners have fallen to +4000 according to the sports betting section of bleacherreport.com.

Meanwhile, the Longhorns were able to dominate the team that Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian used to play quarterback for in college, the BYU Cougars. The Horns pulled off a 35-6 win to increase their record to 7-1 while the Cougars have fallen to 5-3.

Before game day on Saturday, the Sooners were ranked at No. 6 while the Longhorns were breathing on their neck at No. 7. Now that OU has acquired a loss on their record, there is not a single undefeated team in the Big 12 division.

When the updated rankings are released in the next few days, the Longhorns might be in good shape to reclaim a higher standing than OU in all of college football.

This upcoming Saturday, the Longhorns will face the Kansas State Wildcats in Austin at DKR stadium.
