UCLA Football: Bruins Celebrate Former Players in the NFL Playoffs

The Bruins have many former players who are set to play in the NFL playoffs.

The 2024 NFL Playoffs are set to kick off tonight and will run through this weekend. 12 teams are vying to make it to the Super Bowl, and many of them are former UCLA Bruins players.

The Bruins posted on X today to give praise to the former players who are all on teams battling it out for the coveted Super Bowl title.

The former Bruins playing in the NFL playoffs are as follows:

Sean Rhyan, was drafted in the third round by the Green Bay Packers in 2022. Rhyan is a crucial part of the offensive line.

Safety Quentin Lake was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in round six of the 2022 draft.

Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa was drafted from UCLA in round three of the 2021 Draft.

Defensive tackle for the Green Bay Packers, Kenny Clark, who was drafted in the sixth round of the 2016 Draft.

Offensive tackle for the Buffalo Bills, Alec Anderson. Anderson went undrafted but worked his way from the practice squad to the active roster of the Bills.

San Francisco 49er center Jake Brendel, who played for UCLA until the 2016 season. He has played for many teams but is now a stalwart OL for the 49ers.

Houston Texans place kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn, who played for the Bruins until 2016 when he went undrafted. He would work his way to the active roster for the Texans, where he boats a 96.5 FG%.

Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle Matt Dickerson played for the Bruins until the 2018 season.

Miles Jack, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker, drafted in the second round of the 2016 draft.

The Bruins should be very proud of the fact that so many players have gone on to have successful NFL careers. We join UCLA in wishing them all luck in the playoffs.
