UCLA Football: Former Bruins TE Joins Washington's Coaching Staff

Former Bruins TE will now be joining Washington's coaching staff.

Many former professional and collegiate players often leave playing behind and head into coaching. It's a natural transition, and most do quite well in imparting their knowledge to the youth they coach.

One such player is former UCLA Bruins tight end Caleb Wilson. Wilson announced on X that he is set to join the Washington Huskies as part of their offensive coaching staff.

Wilson initially played for UCLA as a walk-on tight end. During his stint with the team, he was named an All-American in 2018 and First-Team All-Pac-12 in 2019.

Wilson was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in 2019 and spent time playing for the Redkins, Eagles, and Broncos.

Wilson now joins Jedd Fisch, who came over from Arizona to be the new head coach of the Huskies. Fisch has been busy putting his coaching staff together, and he has now added the former UCLA alumnus to his staff.

Wilson has plenty of experience to teach the offense the finer details of playing the game of football.
