UCLA Basketball: Thursday Night Summer League Watch Guide For Bruins Alums

Missing that Pauley Pavilion action during the long summer offseason, are you? Well we've got the next-best thing: former UCLA Bruins trying to take the pro leap in this year's NBA Summer League.
Your Bruins have carved out quite a presence in these 2023 NBA Summer League games. All told, nine UCLA products are playing for pro squads at present. While all are hoping to make an impact on the next level, not everyone is guaranteed to make a standard roster spot when the season begins in October.
So who's active tonight and where can you watch them play, you ask? Read on, friends.
First up, David Singleton's Atlanta Hawks will combat the Philadelphia 76ers in a 12:30 p.m. PT matinee matchup via NBA TV.
Next, big man Moses Brown's Toronto Raptors will strive to fend off the Brooklyn Nets at 5 p.m. PT on ESPN2.
Then, swingman Jaime Jaquez, the No. 18 pick in this year's draft by the Miami Heat, will be playing against the mighty Milwaukee Bucks -- though this young Summer League iteration lacks any of the team's best players, including another former Bruin, All-Star point guard Jrue Holiday. That matchup tips off at 2:30 p.m. PT on NBA TV.
No. 41 pick Amari Bailey and his Charlotte Hornets (led by No. 2 overall pick Brandon Miller, a forward out of Alabama who was selected over Scoot Henderson for some reason) are set to do battle against the New Orleans Pelicans at 4:30 p.m. PT, also on NBA TV.
Tyger Campbell, who went undrafted this summer, is hoping to see more minutes with the Orlando Magic tonight against a Henderson-less Portland Trail Blazers squad. That game tips off at 6 p.m. PT on ESPN2.
Finally, Jaylen Clark's Minnesota Timberwolves will play the Sacramento Kings at 6:30 p.m. PT on NBA TV.

Alex likes slam dunks, take him to the hoop. His favorite play is the alley-oop.
