The ability to recruit is the lifeblood of any college basketball program.

Even though UCLA is in the midst of a rough year, it doesn't mean Mick Cronin isn't pounding the pavement with the hopes of adding some talent to the program.

According to various reports, 2025 big man Nikola Bundalo visited the Bruins this past weekend on an unofficial visit.

As seen above, Bundalo did the customary photo shoot which many recruits enjoy doing when visiting any campus. Aside from the shots in a UCLA jersey, he also has a photo with two Bruins assistant coaches Yogi Jovanovic and Nate Georgeton.

Bundalo is widely considered to be a top-40 prospect for his class per various recruiting services. 247Sports has Bundalo as the No. 23 prospect in the class of 2025.

The 6'11" big man has a skinny frame. He'll have to put some weight and strength on to combat the rigors of the college game. With that said, Bundalo is a very skilled player. He can put the ball on the floor and extend the floor from the perimeter.

For a player his height, he's not a lumbering type. Bundalo moves quite fluidly and also has the quirky advantage of being a lefty. The 'unorthodox' elements of a lefty's game you see with James Harden are also present in Bundalo's game.

Reportedly, Bundalo has also visited Michigan State, Penn State, Ohio State, and Pittsburgh unofficially. It's unknown as to when he will schedule official visits.

With that said, UCLA has to appreciate the fact that Bundalo came across the country to check out the school and program. This likely indicates some real interest. It also surely helps that Bundalo and Cronin are both natives of Ohio.
