Your UCLA Bruins, despite sporting perhaps one of the coolest campuses in the country, have sadly been eliminated from consideration by four-star JSerra Catholic High School senior power forward Sebastian Rancik as a college destination.

Per Joe Tipton of On3, the 6'9" big man received an offer from UCLA, along with Ole Miss, Nebraska, San Diego State, Mississippi State, Arizona State, TCU, USC, Colorado and Oklahoma. Those final three programs are now the three finalists for Rancik's services.

“Throughout the whole recruitment process, it was an honor for me to get to know coaches who have accomplished great achievements in their careers," Rancik told Tipton diplomatically. "I’m really fortunate that the coaches of my top 3 aren’t only great professionals but individuals as well. It is a very important factor for me along with player development and the ability of the coach to push me to become the best player.”

The Slovakian native reportedly has officially visited Colorado and USC, and is prepping a pilgrimage to Oklahoma as well before he makes his final decision.

Rancik is sen as the 16th-best power forward among his graduating class and the 11th-best overall player in the state by On3's own Industry Rankings, as well as the 98th best player among seniors nationwide overall.

UCLA remains a pivotal destination for plenty of prospects, so never fear, Bruins fans. Another stud will be right around the corner.
