Former UCLA Basketball Star’s Son Making Noise in Nike Peach Jam Tournament

Longtime fans of the UCLA Bruins' basketball program may remember a star forward that suited up for them by the name of Trevor Ariza in the 2003-2004 season. Ariza committed to UCLA after an elite high school career that saw him named Mr.Basketball in the state of California during his senior season and he joined a Bruins roster that featured three other NBA-bound players in Ryan Hollins, Dijon Thompson and Cedric Bozeman.
Ariza averaged 11 points and six rebounds in his lone season with the Bruins before declaring for the NBA Draft and getting selected by the New York Knicks in the second round. He would go on to average 10 points and six rebounds during his 17 seasons in the league and even captured a championship with the Los Angeles Lakers, coming back to the city where he started it all.
But it is now his son, five-star prospect Tajh Ariza, who is going viral on the internet for his recent play in Nike's annual Peach Jam tournament and seeing that he is set to graduate a couple of years in 2026, his stock will only continue to grow. Ariza is actually playing for Russell Westbrook's (another former UCLA player) EYBL squad 'Team Why Not' and is off to a hot start.
Have a look for yourself!

Despite Tajh still being young and having a lot of room to grow, he is already 6'6 and his high school and EYBL coaching staff have raved about all of the potential he holds within. Tajh has the ability score at all three levels but also looks to create for the rest of his teammates and locks in on the defensive side of the floor.
Maybe we could see him follow in his dad's footsteps and suit for UCLA one day!
