Popular International Artist Pays Visit to UCLA Women's Basketball Practice

Quite the surprise!

Shakira is one of the biggest artists in the history of music and she is actually the most awarded Latin musical artist of all time as she has taken home three Grammy's along with 12 Latin Grammy's. So many of her songs have gotten millions of plays on the radio and at this point in her career, she is more focused on traveling and helping the next generation of artists than she is on her own craft.

And rightfully so, she has already shared so much of her own craft with her fans and now she wants to pursue other dreams. Shakira has always been willing to above and beyond to learn more about the world around her and a perfect example of this was back in 2007 when she took an ancient Western history course at the University of California, Los Angeles in the midst of her rising fame.

Well, it appears that Shakira built a spect bond with the school during that time period because she came back to visit the campus again recently and made an appearance at one of the UCLA women's basketball team's practices.

She made sure to take a group picture with some of the players as well!

It's great to see someone of Shakira's status still showing love to not just UCLA but specifically the basketball team. Just a few words of advice from to this squad can go a long way as she has dealt with fame and pressure for quite some time now.

Don't be too surprised if you hear her music come on during some pre-game warmups this season or even if she pops out to a game or two!
