UCLA Men's Basketball: Top 5 Regular Season Games To Watch

In this story:
We aren’t that far away from the start of the new college basketball season, and your UCLA Bruins will be looking to make a statement this season. While the team may not be seen as a top-tier team this year, they still have a nice collection of talent across the roster.
They should still have some say in how things pan out in the Pac-12, and there is always hope for a NCAA Tournament berth. The Bruins have a standard that is expected year-to-year, and this team will try to make sure that they live up to it.
The entire new regular season schedule dropped recently, and Bruins basketball is just around the corner.
But which games are the biggest for this team? Lucky for you, I have ranked the top five games of the season for UCLA to watch for.
5. December 16 vs. Ohio State
Live from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, the Bruins get a chance to play a powerhouse like Ohio State. It should be a great matchup, and will also be a preview for the Bruins move to the Big-10 next season.
4. January 20 @ Arizona
Arizona and UCLA is always a great game each year. These teams typically don't like each other, making this rivalry even more must-see TV. The Bruins get a chance to silence the Wildcats at home here.
3. December 9 @ Villanova
This is one of the biggest non-conference games that the Bruins have on the schedule, so they will want to show out. Heading to the Wells Fargo Center is a cool experience for this team, and if they can come away with a win, it would go a long way.
2. December 30 @ Oregon
Anytime these two teams meet, it’s a fun ride. The Bruins get their first chance to face the Ducks on the road, and they can make a big statement if they can win. Oregon is normally pretty good at home, behind their wild crowd, but UCLA has a chance to make some noise with a victory.
1. February 24 vs. USC
This will be the second of the two meetings between the Bruins and Trojans, but this one is in their home. UCLA will want to make sure that they hold serve against their cross-town rivals in their own building. Bragging rights are on the line here, so the Bruins likely have this one circled on their calendar.
